Rinse the rice until water runs clear, about 2-3 times. If using basmati, soak for 15 minutes.

Add the drained rice to the steel pot, along with coconut milk & salt. Close the lid and pressure cook for 6 minutes at high pressure.

Wait 10 minutes then release the pressure manually. Open the lid and use a fork to gently fluff the rice.

Combine rice, coconut milk & salt in an oven safe bowl. Pour water in the steel pot. Place a trivet and put the rice bowl on top. Close the lid.

Pressure cook for 6 minutes. When cooking is done, wait 10 minutes then release the pressure. Open the lid and fluff rice with a fork.
