Prep Rice and Flavorings

Rinse rice 2-3 times, then soak in water for 15-20 mins. Chop nuts finely and grind cardamom.

Turn on Sauté. Add water, milk, sugar, nuts, rice, and stir. When milk starts simmering, cancel saute.

Pressure cook on Porridge mode for 20 mins. When done, wait 15 minutes then release pressure manually.

Using the back of your ladle or a potato masher, mash the rice against the sides of the pot.
