Tips for Planning Mothers Day Menu

Making a homemade meal is one of the best ways to show you care. But that doesn’t have to include a complex spread. Here are some things to keep in mind while planning, especially with little kids.

  • Start with a simple plan that kids can execute with little assistance. For example, waffles are easier to make than pancakes (no checking for air bubbles and flipping) .
  • For younger kids, think of No-cook options like smoothies, fruit juices and protein shakes that can be made in the blender. Or dipping strawberries in melted chocolate (prepared by you)
  • Make an ingredient list and be sure to include condiments or sides if your recipe needs them (pancakes don’t taste that great without maple syrup :)). Purchase it a few days in advance.
  • If you’re looking for easy lunch and dinner options, checkout these dump and start recipes. They deliver excellent results with very little active cooking time.

I hope you have fun making and enjoying these mothers day breakfast recipes with your family. Wishing all you awesome mommies a very Happy Mothers Day !
